The service tech at Bass Pri said this trolling motor is compatible with the Lowrance Elite 7Ti fish finder in the front of my boat. I want to know if this is true or not because everything mentioned is Hummingbird.

Thank you for your question regarding Minn Kota products. Only the DSC transducer option is compatible with some Lowrance units. The Advanced GPS navigation system and MEGA Imaging transducer options (MDI, MSI) are only compatible with select. What is the best most powerful battery for this trolling motor?

Thank you for your question regarding Minn Kota products. The appropriate battery for your application will largely come down to how long you need it to last on a charge. To provide a reasonable amount of time on a charge, we recommend a battery with a minimum reserve of 100 amp-hours. Will the Lift assist 2992728 on work with Item # 1358380

Thank you for your question regarding Minn Kota products. Unfortunately no. The lift assist assembly (2992728) installed on Terrova models from 2016-2023, can not be installed on Terrova models not already equipped with it that were made in 2023 to current. Minn Kota Technical Support

Is there a adapter cable for 12volt 55” Terrova to Helix 7 depth finder

Thank you for your question regarding Minn Kota products. To connect toa Helix 7, it must be a networking G3N or G4N model. It then requires the AS EC QDE adapter cable to connect to the Advanced GPS on the motor. The AS EC QDE is included with all Advanced GPS equipped motors. Minn Kota Technical Support

Is there a pull cord for taking it in and out of the water. It seems unsafe to go way out to the front of the boat bend down and grab the unit head and pull it up and lock it in place when it is really rough water. I’m I missing something here ?

Thank you for your question regarding Minn Kota products. Terrova and other electric steer models are not equipped with pull cords due to the mechanics of how the motor stows and deploys, though the Terrova is still very easy to deploy and stow. To stow, simply press the release lever at the base with your foot and pull in via the top head of the motor. Setting the motor to the minimum depth needed will also make stowing easier. So with this unit how do I get the mega down imaging, I have a humminbird chirp gps g2n and my boat has a transducer at the stern, it seems I’m only getting the 2d sonar

One of our representatives will be reaching out to you via a direct email shortly to gather additional information. Please note that we will only send you one request for clarification. I have a 2022 Terova 80 pound 60 inch shaft.. I recently switched to lithium batteries. After five hours of perfect runtime, the unit lost power and then shut itself off could could this be a week circuit breaker or have I damaged my motor?

Thank you for your question regarding Minn Kota products. We would suggest first confirming whether the batteries ran out of charge. If so, it may mean your batteries don't have enough reserve capacity to operate the motor for the length of time and/or in the manner you want to. Minn Kota Technical Support

Does Terrova need to be networked in order to follow a depth contour?

Thank you for your question regarding Minn Kota products. Yes, Follow the Contour requires a connection to a compatible Humminbird fish finder and compatible LakeMaster map chips. Units compatible with the Advanced GPS navigation system can be viewed at the web address below. https://minnkota.johnsonoutdoors.com/us/support/compatibility/advanced-gps-navigation Minn Kota Technical Support

Is it better to use a deep cycle only battery instead of a deep cycle cranking battery? Being I will never use it for starting anyway.

Thank you for your question regarding Minn Kota products. Whether the deep-cycle battery also has a starting component is not relevant to the trolling motor. The main concern is that it has sufficient reserve capacity. For more information on battery selection, please visit the web address below. https://minnkota-help.johnsonoutdoors.com/hc/en-us/articles/6608432971415-Deep-Cycle-Battery-Selection-and-Recommendations Minn Kota Technical Support

Is it made for saltwater use?

Thank you for your question regarding Minn Kota products. The Terrova is a freshwater model, not designed for saltwater use. For use in saltwater, we recommend one of our Riptide models, such as the Riptide Terrova. Minn Kota Technical Support
